House Rules - NO SMOKING or VAPING anywhere on Kona Bali Kai property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours shall be from 9:00pm to 8:00am, during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. PARKING: Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks or mailboxes. USE OF PROPERTY: The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes. HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES An initial supply of soaps, cleaning supplies, paper goods and other necessities have been provided for your use. Contact management if you need anything additional. CONSERVE ELECTRICITY: The cost of electricity is extremely high in Hawaii. Please help conserve electricity by shutting off AC, unused appliances, fans, lights etc while not in use. Please do NOT change any setting in the freezer or refrigerator. SMOKING: Smoking is allowed outside ONLY. NO smoking on the lanai or on property. NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE: It is a tradition in Hawaii to remove your shoes before entering a home. Kindly remove shoes upon entering the home. If you need to wear footwear for medical reasons please wear something with clean, soft soles to respect the care of flooring in the home. Mahalo! POOL/SPA: PLEASE read and follow posted rules. Every guest should rinse off before entering the pool/spa to maintain cleanliness. FURNITURE: Please do NOT move any furniture around to avoid damaging floors or furniture. Also, please use caution when eating or drinking near any furniture, upholstery, or bedding. Please do not put any wet clothes, bathing suits on the furniture. Interior furniture is to be used ONLY INSIDE. Moving furniture is discouraged. When moving dining chairs or bar stools, please be careful to avoid floor damage. Use lanai furniture on lanai only. CAUTION STAINS: self-tanning lotions and hair-growth products cause permanent discoloration of fabric. Before you risk ruining furniture or bedding, please wash off these products, thanks! BATHROOM TOWELS: are for use inside the house only. WASHER AND DRYER: Please use with care. NEVER put sandy towels or shoes in the machines. This can result in damaging the machine. Please make sure the lint trap is cleaned after each dry cycle. Please do NOT sit on bedding or furniture with wet suits and do NOT place towels on the furniture – they stain and cause mildew. MAID SERVICES: Maid service is not provided with your rental, unless otherwise specified in your rental agreement. Please call the property manager should you wish to schedule a mid-stay cleaning. Housekeeping is provided upon departure. NEIGHBORHOOD: Please be thoughtful of neighbors, please keep music, noise etc. to a minimum from 10pm to 8am. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED: Do not bring any animals in the home regardless of how adorable they look. Local friends who visit may NOT bring pets into the house. PARTIES/EVENTS: This reservation is for quiet residential vacation use only. Therefore, parties, receptions, luaus, events and gatherings of any size or kind are strictly prohibited unless agreed to in your contract with Hawaiiʻs Homegrown Realty.

This was the first stop of our Hawaii trip, and I couldn’t have imagined a warmer welcome🌺🌷I honestly didn’t want to leave—my husband can confirm it! It truly felt like home🏡🙏🌷 The location is perfect: just a short walk to the ocean 🌊 , breathtaking sunsets 🌅 , BBQ areas, and we loved having dedicated parking🌊☀️ The condo was spotless ✨ , cozy 🫖 , and thoughtfully equipped with absolutely everything we needed—from a first-aid kit and a fully stocked kitchen to food 🍱 storage bags. For the first time in a long time, we found genuinely high-quality toiletries 🧴 , which was such a lovely surprise💕 I also loved that the bedroom and living room A/C could be controlled separately—such a smart and comfortable feature🙃 Our favorite moments were enjoying coffee ☕️ on the beautiful balcony every morning☕🌴 The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the coffee and handwritten card they left for us made us feel truly special 💌 Highly recommend 👌🏼

Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5. It started off awful as the host gave us a code that didn’t work and did not answer the phone for 5 hours from 10pm-3am to give us an emergency set code. Luckily after that he called us and we got in but we had to sleep in the car for a few hours. However, after the mistake, the host was really apologetic and provided us with a refund and paid for one of the activities to help compensate from the mistake. Apart from that, the Airbnb was as expected and it was a really great place to stay. The host was amazing at communicating during business hours and providing us with recommendations. I would recommend arriving during business hours to guarantee that you are able to get into the Airbnb. Apart from checking in, everything at the Airbnb was amazing! I would recommend as long as you arrive during business hours.

The house was perfect and very conveniently located in Kilua-Kona. Beaches up north are just 30-45 mins away and the house is located close to some good restaurants like Magics beach grill which is a perfect place to have dinner in the evening and maybe see some whales if you are lucky. House has everything you need for a beach vacation like beach chairs, ice coolers, etc and it also is very neat, comfortable and has all the amenities as described in the listing. Definitely recommend
