Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the bedroom and a queen pull-out sofa in the living room. Relax on the lanai overlooking Alii Drive or walk across the street to the pool, hot tub, business center, Da Poke Shack(famous Hawaiian food restaurant), Da Coco Shack, beach, tide pools, oceanfront picnic tables and BBQs. Guests have full private access to the condo, including the lanai, in-unit washer/dryer, and all upgraded amenities. Located right on Alii Drive, Kona Bali Kai #344 places you in the heart of Kailua-Kona’s scenic coastline. Across the street, enjoy tide pools, beach, and unforgettable sunsets. Walk to the famous Da Poke Shack for fresh local eats, or hop on the trolley out front for a quick ride to historic Kona town, filled with shops, restaurants, cafés, and oceanfront nightlife or head to Magic Sands Beach and Magics Beach Restaurant and Beach Shack about 5 minutes driving south. The area is peaceful yet close to everything—perfect for exploring the Big Island. Parking is free and easy on-site if you’re renting a car—highly recommended for exploring the Big Island. For local trips, a trolley stop is right out front, offering convenient rides to downtown Kona, local beaches, shops, and restaurants. Walking and biking along Alii Drive is also a great way to enjoy the ocean views and nearby attractions. This is a third-floor walk-up unit with no elevator, so please be prepared for stairs. The split A/C in the living room keeps the space cool, and ceiling fans help circulate air throughout. The complex is divided by Alii Drive—your unit is on the mauka (mountain) side, while the pool, hot tub, business center, beach access, Da Coco Shack and Da Poke Shack are on the makai (ocean) side. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 8 AM to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.

House Rules - NO SMOKING or VAPING anywhere on Kona Bali Kai property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours shall be from 9:00pm to 8:00am, during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. PARKING: Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks or mailboxes. USE OF PROPERTY: The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes. HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES An initial supply of soaps, cleaning supplies, paper goods and other necessities have been provided for your use. Contact management if you need anything additional. CONSERVE ELECTRICITY: The cost of electricity is extremely high in Hawaii. Please help conserve electricity by shutting off AC, unused appliances, fans, lights etc while not in use. Please do NOT change any setting in the freezer or refrigerator. SMOKING: Smoking is allowed outside ONLY. NO smoking on the lanai or on property. NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE: It is a tradition in Hawaii to remove your shoes before entering a home. Kindly remove shoes upon entering the home. If you need to wear footwear for medical reasons please wear something with clean, soft soles to respect the care of flooring in the home. Mahalo! POOL/SPA: PLEASE read and follow posted rules. Every guest should rinse off before entering the pool/spa to maintain cleanliness. FURNITURE: Please do NOT move any furniture around to avoid damaging floors or furniture. Also, please use caution when eating or drinking near any furniture, upholstery, or bedding. Please do not put any wet clothes, bathing suits on the furniture. Interior furniture is to be used ONLY INSIDE. Moving furniture is discouraged. When moving dining chairs or bar stools, please be careful to avoid floor damage. Use lanai furniture on lanai only. CAUTION STAINS: self-tanning lotions and hair-growth products cause permanent discoloration of fabric. Before you risk ruining furniture or bedding, please wash off these products, thanks! BATHROOM TOWELS: are for use inside the house only. WASHER AND DRYER: Please use with care. NEVER put sandy towels or shoes in the machines. This can result in damaging the machine. Please make sure the lint trap is cleaned after each dry cycle. Please do NOT sit on bedding or furniture with wet suits and do NOT place towels on the furniture – they stain and cause mildew. MAID SERVICES: Maid service is not provided with your rental, unless otherwise specified in your rental agreement. Please call the property manager should you wish to schedule a mid-stay cleaning. Housekeeping is provided upon departure. NEIGHBORHOOD: Please be thoughtful of neighbors, please keep music, noise etc. to a minimum from 10pm to 8am. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED: Do not bring any animals in the home regardless of how adorable they look. Local friends who visit may NOT bring pets into the house. PARTIES/EVENTS: This reservation is for quiet residential vacation use only. Therefore, parties, receptions, luaus, events and gatherings of any size or kind are strictly prohibited unless agreed to in your contract with Hawaiiʻs Homegrown Realty.

This is a very nice place to stay centrally located in kona. Need to update the pullout couch but it worked well for my family. This was our first time in Hawaii and would love to come back(would book hear again if we have the opportunity). It does lack a view of the ocean but a short walk across the street thru the parking lot under the condo, it has some of the best views around and you can catch the locals out surfing almost at any time. The local tenants around where so helpful for many of our day adventures out and places to eat. To be honest the locals made our trip, they are so kind and they took care of my family on helping us make this trip so special. I fell like I have a deeper understanding of what ohana means.
