House Rules QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours shall be from 9:00pm to 8:00am, during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. PARKING: Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks or mailboxes. USE OF PROPERTY: The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes. HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES An initial supply of soaps, cleaning supplies, paper goods and other necessities have been provided for your use. Contact management if you need anything additional. CONSERVE ELECTRICITY: The cost of electricity is extremely high in Hawaii. Please help conserve electricity by shutting off unused appliances, fans, lights etc. Please do NOT change any setting in the freezer or refrigerator. SMOKING: Smoking is allowed outside ONLY. NO smoking on the lanai. NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE: It is a tradition in Hawaii to remove your shoes before entering a home. Kindly remove shoes upon entering the home. If you need to wear footwear for medical reasons please wear something with clean, soft soles to respect the care of flooring in the home. Mahalo! POOL: PLEASE read and follow posted rules. Every guest should rinse off before entering the pool to maintain cleanliness. FURNITURE: Please do NOT move any furniture around to avoid damaging floors or furniture. Also, please use caution when eating or drinking near any furniture, upholstery, or bedding. Please do not put any wet clothes, bathing suits on the furniture. Interior furniture is to be used ONLY INSIDE. Moving furniture is discouraged. When moving dining chairs or bar stools, please be careful to avoid floor damage. Use lanai furniture on lanai only. CAUTION STAINS: self-tanning lotions and hair-growth products cause permanent discoloration of fabric. Before you risk ruining furniture or bedding, please wash off these products, thanks! BATHROOM TOWELS: are for use inside the house only. WASHER AND DRYER: Please use with care. NEVER put sandy towels or shoes in the machines. This can result in damaging the machine. Please make sure the lint trap is cleaned after each dry cycle. Please do NOT sit on bedding or furniture with wet suits and do NOT place towels on the furniture – they stain and cause mildew. MAID SERVICES: Maid service is not provided with your rental, unless otherwise specified in your rental agreement. Please call the property manager should you wish to schedule a mid-stay cleaning. Housekeeping is provided upon departure. NEIGHBORHOOD: Please be thoughtful of neighbors, please keep music, noise etc. to a minimum from 10pm to 8am. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED: Do not bring any animals in the home regardless of how adorable they look. Local friends who visit may NOT bring pets into the house. PARTIES/EVENTS: This reservation is for quiet residential vacation use only. Had the most amazing time, I’ve stayed in this same complex before but a different unit and this one was absolutely wonderful! The kitchen was fully stocked down to plastic wrap and plenty of pots, pans, silverware, I mean anything you could need this place had it! Can’t beat the view, right on the water with a perfect view of the tide pool out front I even saw turtles! 2 bathrooms felt like overkill but truthfully it was perfect for me and my partner to use both at the same time! Me being pregnant it was much needed. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Truly the best thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Great location, views are epic, hospitality was on point, the unit was in need of some updating and general maintenance, but over all our stay was great. In true Hawaiian fashion, there is no AC so be prepared for a warm sleep. We enjoyed the hospitality and over all would recommend this condo.

I’ll jump on the bandwagon and say this place needs a severe update, but it also has other things going on that make it less than comfortable. Gnat problem in the main bathroom. Rust stains on the walls, towels, almost everywhere. The small portable fan and all the doorknobs are covered in some kind of teal green substance and they feel awful to the touch. Screen doors are ripped open on the side and really hard to open. Among other things, it lacks overall personality, which is why we choose Airbnb over hotels. This feels like an outdated hotel. It has a lot of potential. Hopefully they do even a small update and it will be better.

The host is great ! When you open the door , the welcome card makes me feel really good. Two big French window facing direct to ocean , beautiful sun rise and set is all there. Prefect location , convenient to everywhere. I was check in late around 9pm and I called him but the host is so careful , helpful ! Enjoy the million dollar view!!! I will say what a lot of other people said: the condo is definitely dated, but it is clean and comfortable. Well-outfitted. Normally I’d want something a bit more updated, but the lanai blows everything out of the water! (See below.) Location was wonderful, great to walk up Ali’i and buy fresh fruit and get some exercise. Also a couple good food joints in the complex. Beaches on site. \n\nThe lanai!!! This place is worth it for the amazing lanai alone, just a few dozen feet from the ocean! The crashing waves were so mesmerizing and peaceful; I watched the ocean for hours and listened to the waves crash. I cannot stress how amazing the lanai is. I basically lived out there. It was just the relaxation I needed. \n\nArllen is a great host!!! Super responsive and accommodating. Would certainly go back! \n\nNote: I was there over Xmas so lack of A/C wasn’t a problem, but may want to consider it in warmer seasons.
